Practical tree care that protects your space
Healthy trees need more than the odd trim. We carry out tree surgery for homes and commercial sites across Southampton, helping you deal with overgrowth, storm damage and trees that have simply outstayed their welcome. From careful pruning to full removal, we assess what your trees need before any work starts. That matters when branches are crowding a driveway, blocking light or hanging too close to buildings.
Wessex Gardeners Ltd has been handling outdoor work since 1980, so we know when a light touch will do the job and when stronger action is the safer call. If your wider grounds also need regular attention, our grounds maintenance provides that ongoing care. You get sensible advice, tidy workmanship and a clear plan that suits your property.

Work matched to the condition of each tree
Our approach covers crown reduction, branch removal, ongoing maintenance and full site clearance where needed. We look at the tree's condition, its position and the practical issues it is causing before recommending the next step. That could mean reducing weight from a heavy crown to lower strain or removing damaged limbs before they become a hazard.
Domestic gardens and commercial grounds often need different planning, and we take that into account from the start. If tree work is part of a bigger garden project, our garden landscaping service can plan it all together. Contacting us means we can arrange a free assessment and a no-obligation quote.
